KOOINDAH WATERS WELCOMES ALL PLAYERS TO THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL POLICE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Posted on: 13 March

Friday March 14, Kooindah Waters golf Club will host over 240 Police men and women for the 2024 National Police Championships final round. This is by far one of the busiest days in our clubs history.

The Central Coast has played host all week with other rounds being played at Wyong, Shelly Beach and Magenta Shores. We have been fortunate to be able to host the last round of the national event tomorrow.

120 golfers will tee off at 7am and a further 120 golfers will tee off at 12,15pm.

A massive thank you to Andy Barker and Murray Alcock who first met with me some 4 years ago to discuss the opportunities and bringing this event to the Central Coast. Congratulations on getting this across the line, bringing such a prestigious event to all our clubs. To be able to showcase the place we call home and where we all play golf is an amazing opportunity and with Police men and women travelling from all across the country what a boost for tourism in our region.

The players have also enjoyed a race day at Wyong race club on Wednesday and will all gather Friday night at Mingara for the National presentation and gala dinner.

By all accounts a very successful and enjoyable week.

Congratulations once again to all concerned.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING KOOINDAH WATERS.
