Hole 18
A long par 4, fraught with danger from the tee through to the green. Good players will be tempted to take on the wetland skirting up the left to shorten their second shot. Two deep fairway bunkers lurk on the right to catch a slightly “leaked” drive. A 3 or 4 iron second shot, with a controlled fade will work off the wetland, flanking the left hand side of the green. Average players are advised to treat this as a short par 5 – a bogie result can be achieved through sensible play.
A memorable finishing hole.
